Our client is a global food and beverage company looking to add an Inventory Specialist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $25/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage the stock levels of raw materials and finished goods across multiple facilities in the US. The ideal candidate will have acute attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist:

  • Perform root cause analysis n all inventory discrepancies to properly identify and correct the issue
  • Oversee the processing of work orders, material transfers, transport requests, and other documents to ensure inventory accuracy across all sites
  • Coordinate the inventory movement data collection process for product recalls
  • Ensure accurate and concise representation of the product in inventory software
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify and resolve discrepancies between systems to reduce service risks in the overall supply chain
  • Run ad-hoc reports/investigations
  • Perform, confirm, and resolve all cycle count discrepancies daily
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement Inventory-related initiatives

Qualifications for the Inventory Specialist:

  • At least 2 year of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and IDoc (Inventory) management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management
