Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100,000 – $125,000

Position Overview:

They are seeking a full-time, permanent Electrical Engineer to own the design process for their various municipal and government projects. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for full spectrum of preparation and completion of projects, and manage the design details, plans, drawings and reports needed.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

  • Prepare bid documentation for all types of new buildings, upgrades, water treatment plants, roadway lighting, and more
  • Use AutoCAD to draft electrical drawings
  • Coordinate with other departments to complete full design plans
  • Perform site visits to assess and evaluate present conditions
  • Review project instrumentation, control, and remote monitoring requirements for each project

Qualifications for the Electrical Engineer:

  • Related work experience, with minimum 4 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Thorough knowledge of NEC required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
  • Professional Engineer License is required
