They are seeking an experience Logistics Sales Account Representative to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40,000 – $60,000 + 10% Commission, Contingent upon Book Of Business
Position Overview:
The primary objective of this Logistics Sales Account Representative role is to identify and acquire new shippers while maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with clients. The Logistics Sales Account Representative foster and sustain strong client relationships through regular communication and effective problem-solving.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Sales Account Representative:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector
- Conduct freight bidding and quoting processes to align with both customer needs and company objectives
- Provide exemplary service and tailored solutions to manage customer relationships effectively
- Prepare, organize, and manage necessary reporting documentation
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively offer solutions to meet and exceed expectations
Qualifications for the Logistics Sales Account Representative:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in freight sales or logistics sales preferred
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to establish rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Understanding of the logistics industry and supply chain management
- Previous experience with sales or customer relationship management software is beneficial
Education Requirements:
- Associates degree or related experience is required
