Our client, a large medical practice seeking a Physician Recruitment VP to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Up to $230,000 DOE + Bonus

Position Overview:

The Physician Recruitment VP will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing recruitment and retention strategies for physicians and providers. The Physician Recruitment VP is responsible for providing strategies, direction and developing all aspects of physician recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating relocation, overseeing contracts and agreements, managing agency recruitment partnerships, and onboarding candidates.

Responsibilities of the Physician Recruitment VP:

  • Providing strategies, direction and developing all aspects of physician recruitment, including sourcing, attracting and on-boarding candidates
  • Oversee daily operations and management
  • Exceptional relationship building capabilities and experience developing trusted partnerships with business leaders
  • Possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software
  • Partner with senior business leaders to ensure stakeholder feedback on recruiting process and implement changes for long-term success
  • Analyze current processes to identify both best practices and opportunities for efficiencies

Qualifications for the Physician Recruitment VP:

  • At least 5 years of experience in physician recruitment required – 10 years preferred
  • Comfortable being onsite 5 days- non negotiable
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Experience in working with an applicant tracking or HRIS system
  • Analytical skills to identify and solve organizational and interpersonal problems
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with different levels across the organization
  • Knowledge and experience with physician associations, databases, and other sourcing tools
  • Demonstrated service and customer orientation
  • Strong project management, process improvement, program development, decision-making, change management, and analytical skills required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably a degree in Psychology, Human Resources or Business Administration, or pertinent experience in Human Resources/Recruitment is required
