Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65k

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a range of accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, vendor issue resolution, audit support, and other related duties.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues, including discrepancies in price or quantity.
  • Conduct weekly audits to ensure the accuracy of vendor master file changes.
  • Prepare wire packets and facilitate ERS processing as required.
  • Apply payments for manual checks and wire transfers.
  • Assist with the processing of weekly check runs.
  • Allocate expenses using TABS and Concur systems, ensuring coding accuracy.
  • Generate and process monthly journal entries.
  • Provide rotation coverage for front desk duties.
  • Offer support during audits as needed.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel is required.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
