The company offers great growth potential and stability in the growing markets. The company is hiring a talented, dynamic Staff Accountant that is willing to grow and assist the accounting team with Accounting and Finance functions. The company has been rapidly growing and looking for a candidate that can be a future leader with strong accounting capabilities. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55,000 – $65,000 + 10% bonus

Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant is responsible entering and processing AP and AR (including Payments and Deposits). The Staff Accountant also handles preparation and entering of various monthly and quarterly journal entries.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

  • Preparation of various account reconciliations, such as cash, AP, Debt, etc.
  • Preparation of quarterly financial statements
  • Documentation of process and control information
  • Assist with preparation of annual tax returns for various entities
  • Assist Senior Accountant in preparing 1099’s
  • Helping to prepare and enter annual budgets for all properties
  • Perform various other tasks and projects as required by management

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience with general ledger accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in the Accounting field required if no degree
  • Proficient with Excel and understands how systems operate

Education Requirements:

  • College degree or relevant experience in Accounting is preferred
